Anyone who sleeps has some form of morning breath. And morning breath can be a real mood killer...especially when you're in the mood for some morning sex.
We’d hate for you to miss out on a lil’ somethin’ somethin’ just because your (or your partner’s) breath is tart. If you’re a fan of morning sex, here’s how you can work around the whole morning breath thing:
Brush Your Tongue Before Going To Bed
The next time, at bedtime, you pull out your toothbrush to brush your teeth, don’t forget about your tongue! Sure it might be gross to think about, but it is a breeding ground for germs, especially in between your taste buds. Since it creates a
biofilm on your tongue, a quick swish of mouthwash isn’t going to do much good. You need to devote a minute or so to brushing your teeth. Then rinse. You’ll notice a difference the next morning if you do.
Sleep With Your Mouth Closed
How can you avoid sleeping with your mouth open? Sleeping on your side might help…some. But you might want to talk to your dentist about trying
mouth tape. It’s basically just what it sounds like: tape that you can put over your lips to keep your mouth shut.
What’s the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning? You’re probably gonna say use the bathroom, but if you want to engage in a little bit of morning sex, drink some water on your way back to bed.
Drinking water flushes out the bacteria that accumulated throughout the night (if that grosses you out, you can also rinse your mouth out with water instead). It also increases the production of saliva. The more spit that’s in your mouth, the better your breath will smell.
