Kerry Washington is a huge fan of pilates, especially for the lower body. This following routine will help tone your lower half and your core. You can get started by doing the following exercises in a circuit, 3 rounds of 15 repetitions. 

1. Roll Back

Start by sitting up with a straight back and our knees slightly bent. Place your arms on your knees. Take a deep breath and lean back, keeping your arms straight. Lean back as far as you can and return to the starting position. 

2. Lying Leg Raises

Start lying flat on your back. Hingeing from your hips, bring your legs up to a 90° angle. Lower them back down. If that's too hard, start with you thighs in the air, with you calves bent at 90°.
