Zoe Saldana Opens Up About Raising Her 'Gangster' 2-Year-Old Twins

Everyone has heard of the “terrible twos” but for Zoe Saldana, it’s a double dose because she has not one, but two toddlers running around her house causing chaos. She recently stopped by The Late Late Show with James Corden, and let it all out about her sons and their pretty “gangster” ways.

Usually we see Saldana as this cool, calm, collected beauty who is also a badass thanks to her roles in Avatar and Guardians of the Galaxy, but it turns out when she’s not on screen, her two-year-old twin boys are driving her and her husband a bit insane.

She told Corden, “It’s fucking bananas,” adding, “We’re losing our fucking minds.” She then quickly apologized for all the f-bombs, but continued on as most moms would when describing their out of control kids.

She said her twins “live by the night” and never seem to sleep. Which may explain why they are constantly fighting, in her words “like two dudes fighting over a girl at a bar.” She could not stress enough how having twins often gets romanticized, but people often forget that with twins you are “catering to two people at the same age, going through the same things, but with different tempers.” Her boys have tempers alright. They not only kick one another, but grab hair and bite faces. Dang, they are little G’s aren’t they?

Saldana wasn’t too alone though. While Corden said he too has a two-year -old at home, it was Kirsten Dunst who admitted her god daughter who’s the same age is quite the handful too as her new favorite word happens to be similar to the one Saldana was spitting out at the start of the segment. While the ladies on the couch were dishing about toddlers, Jamie Foxx, whose daughters are 22 and eight, chimed in about handling guys who come over to date his oldest. He admitted he’s over the whole harassing the gentlemen caller thing.

Poor Saldana though, hopefully those tiny tykes will turn three and leave their gangster days behind them so mommy and daddy can have some peace.
