Considering she basically had to be dragged to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue months after her husband's inauguration, a lot of people have been wondering if Melania Trump is into this whole "first lady" thing. As far as enacting policy goes, she's done little more than speak out against bullying on Twitter. (And look how effective that's been with her husband.)
But when it comes to branding her First Ladyship, it seems like Melania is going all-in.
On Tuesday, Melania hit the Hurricane Harvey-ravaged shores of Texas in a brand new accessory: A black baseball hat embroidered with the word "FLOTUS."
As soon as the internet got word of Melania's disaster site fashion choice, people couldn't stop cracking jokes at her expense.
It remains to be seen whether the hat and other FLOTUS merch will be sold on Donald Trump's official online store alongside his #MAGA hats, but this wouldn't be the first time Melania has (reportedly) tried to profit off her title: She suedThe Daily Mail's parent company back in February for publishing an article that accused her of being an escort, saying the post cost her “significant value" and "major business opportunities that were otherwise available to her" as First Lady.
Anything for the #brand.
